London, Oct 6 (PTI) The United Kingdom needs to upscale its skills in
science and technology sectors to meet challenges posed by countries like
India and China, Liam Fox, Shadow Secretary of state, has said. "While in
the UK, interest in science subjects is flagging, India has a surplus of
science and technology graduates. The UK needs to upscale its skills to meet
the challenges posed by countries like India and China," Fox said while
speaking at a reception for the 'Conservative Parliamentary Friends of
India' at the annual Conservative Party conference in Blackpool.

Business Technology Partners (BTP) today announced the completion of a
comprehensive technology relocation project for the New York Career
Institute (NYCI) to its new headquarters at 11 Park Place in New York. BTP
managed the overall technology relocation and upgrades to many technology
systems. Designed to improve both the school's business operations and
its computer labs and other student workspaces, the new space includes
private offices, classrooms, lab rooms, administration areas, a library and
a data center.

Many security systems fail, not for technical reasons but because they fail
to take into account the way people really use computers. A realistic
security policy may not be the theoretical best; in the real work, though,

Boston Investment Firm Buying Tampa-Based Software Company TA Associates
Inc., a Boston-based investment firm that specializes in buying technology
companies, said Wednesday that it is buying Tampa-based Information
Technology Solutions from Intuit Inc. for $200 million.
